What's the dress code?
Friday · Beach Welcome Party: all-white attire encouraged. Toes in the sand, so plan footwear you can lose.
Saturday · The Wedding: black tie optional. A ceremony where the desert meets the sea, then dinner and dancing under the stars. Tuxedos and gowns are very welcome; a dark suit works just as well.
Sunday · Pool Day & Goodbyes: sip & swim. Bring a suit and something easy over it.
Where is everything happening?
Every single event is at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Los Cabos: welcome party, ceremony, dinner, after party and Sunday pool day. No shuttling between venues.

Where should we stay?
Every event is at Zadún, so stay wherever suits you. Nothing on this list is required.
Behind the same gates as Zadún:1. Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is our room block and home base. Everything happens steps from your door. Our rate is $922 a night all in, versus the usual ~$1,600.

Wednesday through Monday if you want to come early or stay on, and most of us will be there

2. JW Marriott Los Cabos is our second room block, a short hop down the beach, at $589 a night all in versus about $875, and
the block is bookable now from the JW card above.
3. Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is adults-only and all-inclusive, next door to the JW, bookable now.
You can also
rent a place in La Playa. Just make sure the listing sits inside the Puerto Los Cabos golf course area, and check how far it really is from the resort.
A little farther, still lovely:Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort is one of our favorite hotels on this coast and home to Sakagura.
Acre Resort is the palm grove from our scavenger hunt, with casitas and treehouses, typically $300 to $400 a night.

How do we get there?
Fly into Los Cabos International (SJD), about 25 minutes from the resort.
New York: JFK/EWR nonstop, ~5h 45m
Los Angeles: LAX nonstop, ~2h 30m
Florida: Miami, Orlando or Tampa, one easy stop via DFW, IAH or ATL, ~6h 30m
Schedules move around between now and 2027, so double-check before you book.
When do we need to RSVP by?
Kindly reply by October 14, 2026. We know that is early, and it is not a typo. We need a firm head count to hold our room blocks at Zadún and the JW, and to give the resort numbers on time.
A formal invitation follows in late 2026. RSVP right here on this site: accept or decline, tell us which nights you will make, pick an entrée for each guest, and leave any allergies or travel notes.
How long should we stay?
Our honest advice: turn this into your own vacation. Arrive as early as you wish and leave as late as you can. It's one of the favorite hotels we've ever stayed at, and the weekend will go too fast.
What should we do while we're there?
If you're arriving early, eat your way through our favorites. There's a checklist on this site you can tick off as you go:
Sakagura at Solaz: omakase counter, Anthony's favorite sushi in Cabo.
Cocina Del Mar: cliffside dinner, our favorite view hands down.
Acre: dinner in a palm grove, mezcal from the farm. Trust us.
What about dinner and allergies?
When you RSVP, each guest in your party picks an entrée for the Saturday reception: Angus Steak or Adobo Chicken, so we can give Zadún an exact count. If neither works, choose “Neither: Dietary restriction” and tell us what you need in the notes. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, put them in the notes field on your RSVP and we will pass them to the kitchen. Better to over-share than push food around a plate in Cabo.
Are you registered anywhere?
No registry, and no boxed gifts are being asked for. You are already flying to Cabo, which is a gift to us in itself! If you would like to give something anyway, we have a combined

Do I need a passport?
Yes. A passport book is required to fly to Mexico. A passport card is not enough for air travel. We recommend it be valid through at least November 2027, six months past our return.
Check it today, not next year. Renewals routinely take a few months, and longer when they get busy. If yours is expired, close to expiring, or you have never had one, start now and it is a non-issue.
Travelling on a passport from somewhere other than the US? Check whether Mexico requires a visa for your nationality.
Can I bring my kids or a guest?
Your invitation lists exactly how many seats we have saved for you, and they appear automatically when you RSVP.
If someone is missing from your party, or you think the number is wrong,
text Anthony at 646-235-2734 with their names and we will sort it out. Please do not add extra names to the form, because the count is tied to what Zadún is holding for us.
How do I get from the airport to my hotel?
Book a transfer in advance. Arrange it through your hotel, or a private transfer company, before you fly. They meet you inside arrivals holding a sign.
Do not plan on Uber for the arrival. Rideshare is not permitted to pick up at SJD arrivals, so you will be standing at the curb with an app that says no cars are available. Lyft does not operate in Mexico at all.
Uber works well once you are in town, and it is fine for the ride back to the airport when you leave.
How do I get back after the after party?
The after party runs late at Zadún’s Kultural Lounge. If you are staying at Zadún you are already home.
If you are at the JW, Secrets or a rental, we are working on organised transport back that night. Rideshare inside the gates is unreliable at that hour, so please do not rely on it. We will confirm the plan well before the weekend.
What time zone is Cabo in?
Cabo is on Pacific time (UTC−7). Baja California Sur does not observe daylight saving, so the clock never shifts while you are there.
In May that means Cabo is on the same clock as Los Angeles and three hours behind New York. Worth double-checking against your flight times, and worth knowing that 4:30 PM means 4:30 PM local.
What will the weather be like, and what should I pack?
Mid-May in Los Cabos is close to perfect: around 86°F in the day, 69°F at night, essentially no rain, low humidity, and an ocean around 73°F.
Pack: sunscreen (the desert sun is stronger than it feels), something light for the evening once the sun drops, and shoes you can actually walk in. Much of the weekend is on grass and sand, so block heels or wedges beat stilettos. And a swimsuit for Sunday.
Cash, cards and tipping?
Cards work everywhere you are likely to go: the resorts, restaurants and shops all take them. You do not need to arrive with pesos.
Prices are often shown in both pesos and US dollars. Paying in pesos usually gets you a better rate than letting a terminal convert for you, and if you want cash, ATMs inside the resorts or a bank are safer than standalone machines on the street.
Tipping is customary and appreciated: roughly 15–20% at restaurants, a little for housekeeping and bellhops, and something for your driver. Note that resorts often add a service charge, so glance at the bill before adding more.
